can i record the samples from my keyboard to fl studio 8?
I really dont like the samples on fl studio so i was thinking if i could buy a controller midi keyboard and hook it up too fl studio 8 and record the samples from my keyboard to fl studio 8 so i can use them….is that possible?

No, you cannot. A MIDI keyboard does not produce sounds, so there is nothing to record. A MIDI keyboard only sends MIDI signals to your computer. These MIDI signals trigger notes in your audio software. You will hear the note which you played, on the instrument you have selected in your audio software. The standard instruments can often be altered using effects such as LFO, but if you would like entirely new instruments, then most audio software allows you to load VST’s. I am not a fan of FL Studio myself, but I believe that version 8 allows you to load VST’s as well. Version 9 of FL Studio does so for sure.
