fruity loops studio.recording vocals.asio4all?

fruity loops record

so i am trying to record vocals int my tracks on fl studio 8. i realized i needed i proper sound driver so i downloaded asio4all. in my audio settings, fl studio read asio, however wen i went to set up my mixer settings so i can record, as soon as i chose my input as an asio option i got a loud, hard, rising, staticy sound. it sounded as if there was a problem. i couldn’t figure out how to make it stop. i changed my mic, tried to reinstall asio, but it did not work.

idk what to do. my mic works fine because i can record in a Standard sound recorder program, but i would really like to record straight off fl studio.

ne advice or answeres plese help. if i need to adjust somthing on my compter plese tell me what or how. same if i need to get another prgram or driver.

or if u kno an easier way i can do this plese let me kno.

thanks! and plese if u can leave an email with ur answer. if i have furthrer questions.

thanks.

Your problem is ASIO4ALL. It doesn’t work with MANY sound cards. You should look into buying a cheap ASIO card. Many of the Creative Audigy cards have it. You can get a 4-5 year old one for $20-30 bucks on Ebay. It will be completely worth it.
If you don’t want to go out of your way to buy an ASIO card, try a program called Audacity. It’s a free multitrack program. What you’ll want to do is mix down your FL Studio song, open it in Audacity, and record through there. Audacity allows you to record with the Windows standard audio device.
