In FL Studio, is there a way you can automate velocity on a MIDI Out piano roll?
By this I mean, can I set a note’s velocity to fade from 0 to 127 over a certain length of time? I am new to FL studio and I am using it to control lighting. In the light board’s manual it says when a scene is controlled via MIDI, you can simulate fade time by using velocity. I just can’t seem to figure out how to do it.

Yes you can just draw some notes in the piano roll and below the note area is the velocity bars. Just draw them the way you want.
if you have a MIDI controller you can also link a knob to your MIDI and record yourself controlling any MIDI parameter and play it back just like you recorded it.
FL is very powerful.
