Problems with Fruity Loops samples. Samples appear red and won’t play wave file in Windows Media. Help?
I have been using Fruity Loops Studio 4 for a long time now and just reformatted my computer. I copied all files from Fruityloops to an external hard drive and then did the whole wipeout and then copied all the FL file back to my hard drive. When i did this some of the samples that were included with FL like the entire “HipHop” folder and “Dance” folder, for example, no longer work at all. However, the majority of samples still work just fine. I went into the FL data folders and tried to play the .wav samples that weren’t working and Windows Media Player is telling me that I’m missing a codec for them now. It specifically says it’s the Ogg Vorbis Mode 1 674F codec that I’m missing. Now, i don’t know if that codec is going to solve my problem within Fruityloops or just play it in Windows Media or what. Honestly i just want my damn FL to work right again! LOL. Please help.

you can’t just copy files back and forth it don’t work that way unless you enter all the registry entry’s manually.
you will have to find the installer and install it.
